Centre-back Izzy Green has made her mark on the first team since stepping up from the academy just over three years ago.

Izzy impressed former head coach Jenny Sugarman with her performances for the development team and was soon given the first-team nod in her league debut against Wolves in August 2021.

Comfortable on the ball, and a physical presence in the back-line, Green scored her first Baggies goal against Stourbridge at the beginning of the 2023/24 term.

She struggled with injury problems during Siobhan Hodgetts-Still’s first campaign in charge, but fit and firing ahead of the new campaign – Izzy looks poised to play a key role.
