West Bromwich Albion and Wrexham will meet for the first ever time in a league fixture on Saturday afternoon at STōK Cae Ras (ko 12.30pm).
The two clubs, who have only played once before in an FA Cup clash way back in 1930, will go head-to-head in North Wales on the second weekend of the Sky Bet Championship season.
The Baggies will be hoping to make it back-to-back league victories at the start of the campaign having won on the opening day against Blackburn. Ryan Mason's men were the dominant team in midweek, but suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Derby County in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Hosts Wrexham had a 1-0 lead at Southampton heading into added time on the opening day, but went on to concede two late goals. They made up for that disappointment by scoring two injury-time goals to force penalties in midweek at home to Hull City in the League Cup, a shootout they'd go on to win 5-3.

The opposition
Saturday's clash with Albion will see Wrexham play a home match in the second tier of English football for the first time since 1982.
The Red Dragons have enjoyed an incredible rise up the football pyramid following Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover in February 2021, winning three consecutive promotions from the Vanarama National League all the way up to the Sky Bet Championship - the first team to ever achieve that in the top five divisions in the country.
They were handed a cruel defeat in their opening game last weekend, conceding two late goals to lose 2-1 at Southampton, but they did come back from 3-1 down late on to send their Carabao Cup first-round tie to penalties against Hull City on Tuesday night - an encounter they won 5-3 on spot kicks.
Boss Phil Parkinson has been with the club since July 2021, making him the longest-serving gaffer at a club currently playing in the Championship. The former Sunderland and Bolton Wanderers boss has won promotion in three of his four seasons and has never finished lower than second during his time with Wrexham, achieving a win percentage of over 60 from more than 200 matches.
They've added a wealth of experience at this level to their squad over the summer, and will be hoping to add even more fresh faces in an attempt to have a solid season. Lewis O'Brien, Conor Coady, Kieffer Moore, Ryan Hardie, Danny Ward and Josh Windass are just some of the names who've joined the club recently.

How's that for a stat
Albion have the opportunity to win their first two league games of a campaign for the first since time since the 2017/18 Premier League term when they beat AFC Bournemouth at home and then Burnley away by 1-0 scorelines.
Wrexham duo James McClean and Jay Rodriguez both started those two games against the Cherries and the Clarets for the Baggies eight years ago. Irishman McClean made 112 appearances in three years for Albion, while forward Rodriguez scored 33 times in two seasons.
The Red Dragons have lost just five of their 69 home league matches across the last three seasons, winning 55 of them.
Midfielder Isaac Price has been involved in both goals the Baggies have scored this season, notching the winner against Blackburn in the league and earning an assist against Derby in the Carabao Cup.
There have been nine goals scored across Wrexham's first two games of the new term. Four of them have arrived in the 90th minute or later.
