Albion Women’s Manager Siobhan Hodgetts-Still has announced she is pregnant and expecting a baby later this year.
‘Shev’ will take charge of Sunday’s final 2025/26 fixture against Middlesbrough before temporarily stepping down from coaching duties.
But she will remain in her role as Women’s Manager until going on maternity leave in July.
A recruitment process is underway to appoint an interim head coach ahead of the 2026/27 women’s campaign, with Hodgetts-Still set for a return in the new year.
“We’re absolutely delighted to share the news we are pregnant and incredibly excited for the arrival of our baby this summer,” said Siobhan.
“I would like to thank everyone at the football club for their amazing support. This truly is a family club and that has shone through in my conversations with the club’s leadership over recent weeks.
“We’re working hard behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition process – and I’m confident we’ll appoint the right person to lead us during my absence, as we build on the solid foundations we have established in recent seasons.
“With the support of the ownership, the women’s team has made great strides forward, and we’re determined to continue that progression next season.
“I would like to thank everyone for their congratulatory messages.”
Everyone at the football club would like to congratulate ‘Shev’ and her partner on the fantastic news and wish them all the very best.
