Albion Under-21s have learned their Premier League Cup opponents for the 2026/27 campaign.

The format of the competition has slightly changed compared with previous seasons due to the inclusion of two extra teams this time around, meaning 40 clubs will compete home and away between August and December in group-stage matches.

Ten groups of four will compete in the preliminary games, with the winner of each progressing through to the knockout phase of the tournament along with the six best-placed runners up across the standings.

While the group format of the competition has been tweaked, the shootout phase has not as those successful teams will compete through the usual round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final ties prior to an eagerly-anticipated final.
