Albion Women have completed the capture of Riya Mannu, who returns to The Hawthorns on a permanent deal from Birmingham City, subject to league approval.
The 19-year-old spent time on loan at the Baggies during the second half of the 2025/26 season, and made eight appearances - scoring one goal.
She became the first South Asian player to represent Blues Women in a league fixture, and went on to make appearances at WSL2.
A versatile forward, who can play across the front-line, Mannu will look to help the Baggies improve upon their decade-best league season in 2026/27.
On joining the Baggies, Riya said: “I’m really excited. I had a great feeling about coming back after last season.
“Albion helped me so much in terms of my development last season in senior football, and it helped me get my love back for the game. That was one of the key reasons for coming back. The people here, and the ambitions of the club are great.
“I’ve spoken to both Siobhan Hodgetts-Still and Martyn Irvine, and after those conversations, I felt really positive about my move back here."
Welcome back, Riya!
