Albion's PL2 team were beaten 2-0 by Fulham on Friday night.
The hosts had an opportunity to take the lead nine minutes before the break, but Louis Brady saved Jayden Quashie's spot-kick.
The Cottagers weren't to be denied just five minutes later, though. Seth Ridgeon burst down the left flank, cut into the box and poked the ball beyond the Baggies goalkeeper.
Albion's task became harder in the early part of the second period when Jamal Mohammed was shown a red card, leaving the Londoners with a huge chance to go on and control the rest of the encounter.
Fulham used their numerical advantage well and went close a couple of times before finally scoring again in the 85th minute. Chibuzo Nwoko found the bottom corner from the edge of the box to seal all three points for his side.
