Ollie Bostock has become the latest Albion youngster to commit his future to the club after signing a new two-year deal.
Penning a contract which runs until June 2027, the 2023/24 Academy Player of the Year enjoyed an eye-catching season last time around - playing an instrumental part in the Baggies’ run to the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals (chipping in with two goals and two assists).
Ollie initially made the step up to the Under-21s football at the age of 16, and the now 18-year-old showed his capability to change games in the PL2 team once again last term.
Those displays earned Bostock, who’s captained Wales U16 and 17s previously, a maiden call-up to the 19s squad in October 2024 - with the attacker scoring against France the following month in a European qualifier, before going on to skipper that age group in the recent September internationals.
And having made the perfect start to the new campaign after scoring two in the three games he's featured in for the U21s, the attacker is keen to use the confidence gained from this extended contract to make the transition into first-team football.

Bostock said: “I am very proud to extend my time at Albion.
“I’ve been at the club for 12 years now and they have done everything for me from a footballing perspective. I’ve not known any other club other than this one and who I am as a person is down to how Albion has shaped me.
“This contract has made me realise the faith the club have in me and how much they want to see me succeed.
“Last year was a successful one on the pitch, scoring goals, getting assists, and they got me around the first team squad.
“I want this contract to take me into first-team football, whether that be here or on loan, that’s the next step which can benefit me and make me a better player.”

Academy Manager Richard Stevens added: “It was important for us to ensure Ollie’s long-term future was at Albion.
“We will make sure he gets everything he needs to develop and grow into the footballer we know he can become.
“To progress in this industry, you have to have a strong mentality and Ollie challenges himself and is the type of footballer who is going to take risks.
“He has got that mentality where he can take risks and make magical things happen, as we saw last year in the Youth Cup and in some of the 21s games.
“His good moments are memorable and we hope to see more of those during his performances in the future.”
