Dual-registered Albion Women defender Lucy Day has been called up to the Wales U19 squad for their UEFA WU19 Euro qualifiers in Switzerland next week.
The Birmingham City defender, who’s with the Baggies until the end of the season, made her youth international debut in a friendly defeat to Portugal back in February, and will be on the lookout for further caps as they take to their qualifying matches - which are as follows:
| Opponent | Venue | Date/Time |
|---|---|---|
| Switzerland | Tissot Arena | Thursday, April 9 (ko 12pm) |
| England | Stade Copet | Sunday, April 12 (ko 4:30pm) |
| Latvia | Stade Copet | Wednesday, April 15 (ko 12pm) |
Nia Davies’ side have retained their League A status for their qualifying campaign, and will face Switzerland, England and Latvia in mid-April for a chance to make the final tournament, which takes place this summer in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Best of luck, Lucy!
