Little Princess Trust collection to be held at Blackpool game

The Hawthorns

Albion will be supporting the fantastic work of the Little Princess Trust when they host Blackpool at The Hawthorns on Friday.

The West Bromwich Albion Former Players Association, along with The Albion Foundation, will be outside the stadium holding a collection ahead of the Sky Bet Championship clash.

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

“We are incredibly grateful to all the generous people who support our charity to ensure we can maintain this free service and help so many children and young people,” said founder Wendy Tarplee-Morris.

“We know, thanks to our wonderful wig recipients, just how important hair is to a person’s identity.

“The donations raised on the day of the Blackpool game will also help the Little Princess Trust continue to fund vital research searching for kinder and more effective treatments for childhood cancers, so a huge thank you goes out to everyone at West Bromwich Albion Football Club.”

While the Little Princess Trust will be given a large majority of the donations, a percentage of the total will also go to The Albion Foundation for kindly helping with the collection.
