Albion Women are delighted to have secured the services of forward Izzy Lane.
The winger, who boasts senior appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, where she came through the academy, alongside a spell in the States with the University of Delaware, before making her return to England with Real Bedford.
Lane proved herself at tier-three level with the Pirates and became a key player across 2025/26 in the FAWNL Southern Premier.
And after making the switch to the Midlands - Izzy says her first impressions have been positive as she joins in time for Wednesday's FAWNL Cup match against Birmingham City PGA at The Hawthorns.
She said: “It’s been really good, my first impressions of the girls have been really positive. The club and all of the facilities are really good.
“The ambitions within the club are big, and I think our ambitions align with where the club is going. Everyone’s been great and welcoming.
“My best position is probably on the right, I like to get down the line and drive crosses in, but I can play on the left too. I want to create goals and do anything I can do to help win games.
“I’ve had some great experiences in my career and they’ve shaped me to be a better player. I’ve had a lot of minutes and increased my fitness.
“I’m really excited to play in front of the fans.”
