Isaac Price scores for Northern Ireland against Germany in Cologne

Isaac Price celebrates scoring for Northern Ireland against Germany

Isaac Price became the youngest player in Northern Ireland's history to score ten goals for the nation on Sunday night.

The Baggies midfielder crashed home a cracking volley from a tight angle shortly past the half-hour mark against Germany in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash in Cologne.

It was a goal which levelled the score at 1-1 following an earlier strike from Serge Gnabry. Sadly for Price and Northern Ireland, the hosts went on to win 3-1 thanks to late efforts from Nadiem Amiri and Florian Wirtz.

Isaac completed 88 minutes before being replaced by Jamie McDonnell.

The defeat leaves the Green and White Army second in Group A, three points behind leaders Slovakia and level on points with the Germans after two rounds of matches.
