The Hawthorns will host ‘Clash of the Legends: Home Nations vs Rest of the World’ as part of its 125th-year anniversary celebrations in September.

The milestone will be celebrated when a group of Baggies legends return, with all proceeds going to The Albion Foundation, the club’s charity partner.

Some of the iconic players reuniting include Chris Brunt, James Morrison, Claudio Yacob, Jonas Olsson, Paul Scharner, and more.

Supporters are asked to save this special date - Saturday, September 6 (kick-off time TBC) - in their diaries for what should be a memorable occasion at the Shrine.

Jonathan Ward, Deputy Director of The Albion Foundation said: “We’re delighted to announce our next legends charity game. Hosting this fixture to help celebrate our home’s 125th anniversary is really special for everyone involved.

“Having two sets of players supporting the Foundation whilst representing their nations at The Hawthorns will be brilliant.

“Our last game, Clash of the Legends: Brunty vs Mozza, was a great success and an amazing day of celebration.

“We’re excited for the event, and it will undoubtedly help us raise vital funds to support the incredibly important work achieved in our local community."

Tickets for the game are priced at £12.50 for adults (17+), and £5 for children (16 and under), with hospitality packages starting from £55 per person. They will go on sale later this summer.

Further events to mark The Hawthorns’ 125th anniversary will be announced in due course.
