Foundation Machu Picchu adventure rescheduled to 2021

TAF Machu Picchu

The Albion Foundation and Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust's trip of a lifetime to the lost city of Machu Picchu has been rescheduled for October 2021.

The initial journey was set to take place in October 2020 but was postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new trip will take place from Wednesday, October 6 to Friday, October 15 2021 and you can be a part of the once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

The trek to Machu Picchu is slow, allowing for acclimatisation to the altitude and the opportunity to enjoy the unique surroundings and traditional culture of Peru.

The hike follows the spectacular and uncrowded Ancaschocha trail, surrounded by mountains, rivers and remote mountain communities.

The journey involves six to eight hours of trekking each day at a maximum altitude of 4,600 metres above sea level.

For more information about the trip, please email events@albionfoundation.co.uk.

To secure your place on the trip you will be required to pay a registration fee of £395 and raise a minimum of £4,190 in sponsorship.
