EFL announce key dates for 2023/24 season

Important dates for your diary have been announced by the EFL ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Supporters will be able to start mapping out the new season on Thursday, June 22 when clubs release their fixtures at 9am.

The opening round of matches in the Sky Bet Championship are set to be played on the weekend of August 4-6.

Round One of the Carabao Cup will quickly follow the first league games, with ties taking place the week commencing Monday, August 7.

Later on in the season, the date for the Championship Play-Off Final – which will once again be hosted at Wembley – has been confirmed as Sunday, May 26, 2024.
