A closer look at Foundation Summer Football Camps

summer camps

Join The Albion Foundation at their Summer Football Camps with increased safety measures in light of Covid-19.

In order to keep participants safe during the sessions, a number of changes have been made in the way camps usually operate.

On arrival, children will be met and escorted to the pitch by a coach and then asked to place their belongings in their own, designated area. They then must sanitise their hands before beginning the session.

Participants are not permitted to touch any of the footballs or equipment with their hands during the session, and must only touch the footballs with their feet.

Coaches will sanitise all footballs and equipment after each session, and coaches will also ensure the players are maintaining a social distance throughout the session.

The camp is taking place at Sandwell Academy for three different age groups throughout the next week.

As opposed to an all-day camp, two, two-hour sessions will run from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm each day.

Each session will be split into three different age-specific groups. Group 1 will include six and seven-year-olds, group 2 will contain eight and nine-year-olds, with group 3 for 10, 11 and 12-year-olds.

The camp will run from Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 14 and will be led by our FA and UEFA-qualified coaches.

Please note: The camp will not be running on Thursday, August 13.
