Ben Hopwood who is The Albion Foundation’s Targeted Mentor is this month’s winner of the Bache Award.
Ben works with some of the most vulnerable young people of Sandwell, who are at risk of gang involvement, youth crime and violence. He started working with us a few weeks before the country went into lockdown last year but this didn’t stop his hard work and determination to reach out to young people. He was also an integral part of our food parcel delivery. He adapted his work and as restrictions lifted he was able to work with young people and their families. He really cares about his work, the impact it has and making a difference
