Albion Women will continue their Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup defence when they welcome Leafield Athletic to the Alexander Stadium on Wednesday evening (7:45pm).

The Baggies went all the way in the competition last season, beating Rugby Borough in final at the Bescot Stadium in April 2025.

Siobhan Hodgetts-Still's side play host to fourth-tier Leafield at the Alex on Wednesday evening, almost a week after their Adobe Women’s FA Cup tie against Everton.

Hodgetts-Still’s side put in a five-star performance to ease past Leafield in 2023’s Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup. Delphi Cole, Meesha Dudley-Jones, Steph Weston, Jhamat and an own goal secured progression in the second round.

Leafield Athletic 0-5 Albion – January 2023

The two sides met again in the Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup in the season prior, and it was the Baggies who once again recorded a convincing victory.
