Albion Women have six pre-season friendlies to look forward to, as they build-up to an exciting 2026/27 campaign.
Martyn Irvine’s Baggies will face Northampton Town, Swindon Town, Real Bedford, Leafield Athletic, Portsmouth and Black Country rivals Wolves as they ramp up their preparations.
Their first opponents, Northampton Town, ply their trade in the FAWNL Division One Midlands, and finished seventh there last season.
Swindon Town pipped rivals Moneyfields to the Division One South West title, where they managed 60 points and will compete in the Southern Premier, the league adjacent to Albion, this term.
Next up is the visit of Real Bedford - who finished sixth in the Southern Division last season with 30 points to their name.
The Baggies will host Leafield Athletic in their final July fixture. The two teams met twice last season, once in the FAWNL Cup group stage, and again in the Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup quarter-finals - they were victorious on both occasions.
Relegated from WSL2 in 2025/26, August opponents Portsmouth can provide a stern test as they prepare for life back in the third tier.
Newly-promoted Black Country rivals, Wolves, will round off Albion’s pre-season schedule on Thursday August 6.
A full list of summer fixtures can be found below, and all home friendlies will be played behind closed doors.
Coverage of these matches will be available across the Albion Women social media channels and at wba.co.uk.
