Baggies pair Max O’Leary and JJ Morgan have been named in the opening WhoScored.com Sky Bet Championship Team of the Week.
The stopper and the striker were two of the standout performers for James Morrison’s men at Carrow Road on Saturday as the Albion secured an impressive 2-1 triumph on matchday one of the 2026/27 league term.
O’Leary’s terrific pass set Morgan away for the visitors’ second goal in Norfolk, with the 20-year-old receiving the ball from the No.1 and gliding through Canaries defenders before slotting into the bottom corner.
Max was called upon several times throughout the encounter and made a string of eye-catching saves.
The Baggies goalkeeper earned a score of 8.5/10, with Morgan sealing an 8.6/10 rating.
