West Bromwich Albion will appeal against the red card shown to Jake Livermore in the Sky Bet Championship defeat at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The skipper was sent off in the 78th minute of the Baggies’ 1-0 loss at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Albion have contacted the Football Association and will submit a claim of wrongful dismissal.
