Semi Ajayi has been selected by Nigeria for their crucial FIFA World Cup play-off clashes with Ghana.
The defender will jet off to join up with the Super Eagles following Albion’s Sky Bet Championship encounter against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
Ajayi’s nation face Ghana in a two-legged tie, with the winner advancing through to the finals in Qatar at the end of the calendar year.
Nigeria travel to the New Cape Coast Stadium for the first leg on Friday, March 25 (ko 7.30), before welcoming the Black Stars to the National Stadium on Tuesday, March 29 (ko 6pm).
