Albion came from behind to triumph 2-1 at Swansea City the last time the two sides came together at the Liberty Stadium.
Craig Dawson's header from Matt Phillips' corner immediately cancelled out Oli McBurnie's 10th-minute opener on the south coast of Wales.
And it was another defender, Ahmed Hegazi, who nodded home another Phillips corner just before the interval to seal all three points.
Harvey Barnes struck a post after the restart while Joe Rodon saw his late header clip the crossbar, but it was Albion who held firm to secure only a second victory in their last eight visits to Swansea.
