The Albion Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of a series of online CPD workshops for coaches of all backgrounds and abilities.
Taking the shape of presentation and question & answer-based online sessions via Zoom, the range of interactive professional development discussions are aimed at coaches working in junior grassroots football, with school football teams, or those who would simply like to improve their knowledge in the world of coaching.
As a result of registering for the sessions, coaches will develop an understanding of how to develop football activities that are safe, enjoyable and inclusive.
From tiny tots football, through to the Youth Development Phase, the experiential learnings of Albion Foundation staff will help you become more confident and passionate about delivering back on the grass.
What is even more unique about The Albion Foundation Grassroots Coaches Academy is that we will hear stories and experiences from players, which will help develop insights from their perspective to really get us thinking about us as coaches from a different point of view.
On Wednesday, June 10, the first session in a series of four will be delivered by Head of Sport and FA Tutor, Dave Lawrence, titled, 'The Beautiful Game… Available for all, keeping football inclusive'.
The sessions are open to all levels of coaches, but the focus is on coaches working with grassroots clubs, in schools, or who have young budding footballers at home who may need some more advice and guidance to make most of the current situation.
The full series can be found below.
