Filip: Four finals to go

Filip Krovinović says Albion have “four more finals” left to play, starting with another crucial Sky Bet Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

The Baggies head to Lancashire on Saturday buoyed by three consecutive league wins, though they will have to again be at their best to overcome Tony Mowbray’s Play-Off chasing side at Ewood Park.

And the Croatian playmaker, who joined the Baggies on loan from Benfica 12 months ago last Sunday, hopes they can continue their fine form - which he attributes to a healthy competition for places and an “unbelievable” team spirit.

“It’s been one year since I came to this Club and I’ve really enjoyed it,” he said.

“I’m really happy that I’m here. The team is great, the dressing room is amazing and the atmosphere is unbelievably good.

“Of course winning games is helping us to achieve that, but since I came I’ve realised that this is one of the greatest dressing rooms that I’ve been in.

“It (competition for places) is very good, of course. You always need to be ready.

“We have a very good squad and lots of quality in the team, like we’ve shown in the last couple of games.

“Now we have four more finals to go. They are very big games, and we are all ready.

“Blackburn is a very big game, one more final. I expect that it will be hard like every game in the Championship.

“I hope that we will continue this great form. One more win and we are one step closer to the Premier League.”
