House ‘eager’ for Reading PL2 clash

Brad House is excited to get back into the thick of the action for Albion’s PL2 side when they take on Reading at Aggborough Stadium on Monday night (ko 7pm).

The young goalkeeper who arrived at Albion’s Academy in 2015 following his release from Arsenal is ready to be called upon against the Royals, who Albion lost to earlier in the season at the Madejski Stadium.

But House says the Baggies are keen to avenge their previous defeat and continue their good form in the Premier League 2 Division Two.

“I can’t wait to back into the swing of things,” said House.

“It’s been a nice break away from football but I’m more eager than ever to get going again and get three points to keep us in the running for a chance of promotion this season.

“Reading are always a good side, they’re always physical and athletic so we have to be on the front foot right from the first whistle to make sure we are first to every ball and out work and out fight them in every battle.

“The season so far has been successful in my opinion. From the first game losing to Man United 5-0 to now being sat third in the league, it’s shown that we’ve grouped together and bonded well and in quick succession as well.

“For me personally I think I’ve grown as a player again and feel as one of the older players becoming more of a leader on the pitch as this time of the season younger lads will be coming through and they’ll always need someone to help and guide them through the game and hopefully I can assist that matter.”
