Albion Under-18s were beaten 2-1 by Everton in an U18 Premier League game at the training ground on Saturday.
Peter Gilbert’s side went down early on when Lewis Dobbin fired the visitors in front, but the Baggies were back on level terms shortly after.
Rico Richards lofted a ball over the Everton defence, which Taylor Gardner-Hickman latched on to. In the box, the Albion winger found Mo Faal, who was making just his second start for Albion, and was able to tuck home from close range.
However, the decisive goal would come for the Toffees later in the first half, as Rhys Hughes scored in the 35th minute.
The result leaves the Baggies in sixth place in the table, while the Toffees are third.
