Dara O’Shea capped off a successful spell with Ireland Under-21s by playing 90 minutes during their crucial win away in Sweden on Tuesday evening.
Stephen Kenny’s youngsters triumphed 3-1 to leave them top of UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying Group A with the maximum nine points from their opening three games.
It caps off a perfect September international break for Dara following his team’s 1-0 victory against Armenia last week.

Elsewhere Semi Ajayi made his seventh appearance for Nigeria in a 2-2 draw with Ukraine.
The defender completed 90 minutes at the Dnipro-Arena as the Super Eagles began their preparations for Africa Cup of Nations 2021 qualifying, which kicks off in November.
