Ahmed Hegazi played his first full game since July, helping the Pharaohs keep a clean sheet as they beat Botswana 1-0.
In the summer Albion’s Egyptian defender underwent surgery to rectify a long-standing ankle problem - but enjoyed his first full 90 minutes of football since featuring in the African Cup of Nations in early July.
It feels great to be back after injury, on a fresh new start for our beloved national team 🇪🇬💪🏼

Elsewhere, Nathan Ferguson played a full game for England Under-20s and Jonathan Leko, who is on loan at Charlton Athletic from The Hawthorns, managed 75 minutes for his country.
The pair were unable to prevent England falling to a 3-0 defeat against Czech Republic at a rain-sodden Weston Homes Stadium, home of Peterborough United.
