Support Proud Baggies ahead of Swansea Rainbow Laces fixture

Can you help Proud Baggies make next month’s Rainbow Laces fixture against Swansea a memorable event?

Yes you can, if you are attending tomorrow’s Hawthorns clash against Sheffield Wednesday (ko 3pm).

Our LGBT+ fans group Proud Baggies will host special matchday features to celebrate Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign when the Baggies face the Swans on December 8 – including a special fan mosaic.

The piece of artwork will use coloured photos of fans as mini tiles for Albion’s LGBT+ supporters’ group Proud Baggies to recreate their logo, with the final image being shared on the big screens at The Hawthorns prior to the Swansea clash.

To get involved, either send in a photo of yourself to info@proudbaggies.com, or have a picture taken before the Sheffield Wednesday game at The Hawthorns - a photographer is set to be stationed by the stadium megastore in the hours leading up to kick-off.

The image should be a headshot of one person, with Albion merchandise and colours encouraged. All suitable images received are set to be included in the artwork.

By sending Proud Baggies your photo, you confirm that:

1 - You are over 18 years of age

2 - Proud Baggies may use your photo on their website and on social media as well as that of the Club.

3 - Your photo may be used for promotional materials, publications, in articles and for publicity but will only be used as part of the fan mosaic project and not used on its own for any purposes.

4 - Your photo may be shared with media and/or press for the specific purpose of raising awareness of the work of Proud Baggies.

5 - You can withdraw consent for this at any time. You can email info@proudbaggies.com if you change your mind. Note: this will not apply to photos once published. Proud Baggies cannot control already published materials or recall them.

Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign is centred around raising awareness of LGBT+ equality.

Proud Baggies was officially launched in September 2017 with the view to bring the football and LGBT+ family together.

The LGBT+ supporters’ group will run a stadium tour on November 30. You can find out more details here.
