Six first-team players could feature for their countries across Europe, Africa and Asia.
Defenders Semi Ajayi and Ahmed Hegazi will be involved in Africa Cup of Nations qualification clashes.
Ajayi’s Nigeria face Benin at home on Wednesday (ko 4pm) before travelling to Lesotho on Sunday afternoon (ko 4pm), while Hegazi’s Pharaohs take on Kenya in Cairo on Thursday (ko 4pm) and Comoros away from home on Monday (ko 1pm).
Ali Al-Habsi’s Oman have two World Cup qualifiers coming up. They host Bangladesh on Thursday (ko 3pm) before welcoming India to Muscat next Tuesday (ko 3pm).
Grady Diangana has been called up to the England Under-21 squad. The Young Lions travel to Albania for a European Under-21 Championship qualifier on Friday (ko 6pm) before jetting to the Netherlands for a friendly next Tuesday evening (ko 5.30pm).
Nathan Ferguson is with England’s Under-20 team for their games away to Portugal on Thursday (ko 3pm) and Iceland’s Under-21 side at Wycombe Wanderers next Tuesday (ko 7pm).
Finally, young defender Dara O’Shea will link up with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for their European Under-21 Championship qualifiers in Armenia on Thursday (ko midday) and at home to Sweden the following Tuesday (ko 8pm).
