Second successive victory for Semi

Semi Ajayi played a full game for Nigeria as they came from behind to beat Lesotho 4-2 in an AFCON qualifier.

The Super Eagles sit top of Group L with six points from two games, having also beaten Benin 2-1 on Wednesday.

Masoabi Nkoto fired Lesotho ahead after 11 minutes, but the visitors fought back and put themselves ahead before the break through goals from Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze.

Victor Osimhen hit a brace after the restart to secure the victory for Nigeria, although the hosts scored a late consolation when Chidozie Awaziem struck into his own net.

Nigeria will continue their AFCON qualifying campaign against Sierra Leone next September.
