Albion U18s 6 Liverpool U18s 3

Albion Under-18s secured a hugely impressive 6-3 victory against Liverpool at the training ground on Saturday.

Peter Gilbert’s team asserted their dominance early on, with Jovan Malcolm firing the Baggies two goals in front within the first 20 minutes.

Forward Alex Gilbert stretched Albion’s advantage minutes later, netting the third goal of the game.

Just after the half-hour mark, Malcolm completed his hat-trick and then added his fourth with a quick-fire double.

Remarkably, the Baggies bagged a sixth before the break, with Jakub Ojrzyński in the Liverpool net scoring an own-goal.

In first-half stoppage time, Thomas Hill netted for Liverpool to reduce the deficit for the away side.

Conor Bradley scored the second for the visitors with 67 minutes played, and despite Thomas Hill grabbing a late consolation goal for Liverpool, Albion held on for a comfortable victory.
