'The Lord's My Shepherd' gallery set for launch

Local artist Stephen Burke will launch a photographic exhibition this weekend which is sure to grab the attention of Baggies fans.

Stephen has conducted a photography project during the 2018/19 season entitled 'The Lord's My Shepherd' that is a celebration of Albion fans and explores their emotional connection with the Club.

He’s spent the season taking portraits of fans at Hawthorns matchdays and before away games and the results can be viewed for the first time on Sunday, May 26 between 3pm-5pm.

And where else to stage the exhibition, which also includes interviews, audio recordings of games and Albion-associated music, then at The Vine Pub, the popular gathering point for the blue-and-white striped faithful.

After Sunday’s preview, Stephen’s exhibition will be live until June 29 and continues his projects that explore relationships between people and place and how social and physical environments can have a determining effect on who we are and how we live our lives.
