Dwight Gayle has picked up the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for April.
The forward was in superb form as he netted six times in five starts on his way to getting the gong, including a hat-trick against Preston North End with his first strike named as the Ideal Boilers Goal of the Month.

It’s the second time this season Dwight has won the award, also earning it in September following another prolific spell.
“It’s nice to win the award,” said Gayle.
“I have got to give a big thank you to my teammates as a lot of my goals have come from in the six-yard box, so there’s a lot of great passes and great assists from the team.
“I want to be scoring as many goals as I can to help the team out and luckily this month was one of the months that I managed to score a few.”
