WBA Women reflect

As part of International Women’s Day, WBA Women’s manager Louis Sowe and captain Hannah George assess the current campaign.

It's a case of so far, very good for Albion's female first-team.

Unbeaten in the league, County Cup finalists and nine points clear of arch rivals Wolves, Louis has plenty to be pleased about.

"This season's gone very well, at the moment," he said.

"To go 14 games unbeaten in this division, I don't think I could have asked for any more."

A disappointing season last year culminated in the Baggies' relegation from the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division.

It's safe to say the feel-good factor is back as Sowe's side continue their dominance in the National League Division 1 Midlands.

"I think the girls have pushed in training and worked hard," said Hannah.

"We're very close as a group, so that helps, and it shows on the pitch."
