Ahmed Hegazi completed 90 minutes at the heart of the Egypt defence as they beat Tanzania 1-0 in their first Africa Cup of Nations warm-up match.
A second-half strike from Ahmed Elmohamady was enough to secure the win for the Pharaohs in Alexandria, who face Guinea on Sunday in their final friendly before the tournament kicks off next week.
