Burke's brilliant night for Scotland

There was double delight for Albion forward Oliver Burke on Saturday night.

The 22-year-old scored his first senior goal on the international stage to secure three crucial Euro 2020 qualifying points for Scotland against Cyprus.

Burke, who replaced Kilmarnock striker Eamonn Brophy with just over 15 minutes to go at Hampden Park, was on hand to knock in the rebound after his initial header bounced back off the post.

His maiden Scotland strike came with just one minute remaining in what was former Baggies boss Steve Clarke’s first game in charge.

Scotland will be looking to build on their 2-1 victory over the Cypriots when they travel to Belgium on Tuesday night.
