Dara O’Shea’s Ireland couldn’t further their historic final-four cup run in the Maurice Revello Toulon Tournament, falling to a 2-0 defeat against Brazil.
O’Shea was an ever-present member of Stephen Kenny's team who topped Group C without a defeat, but beating Brazil proved a step too far for The Boys in Green.
Great test against quality opposition. Big game Saturday to finish off the tournament, one last push @FAIreland #IRLU21 🇮🇪☘️ https://t.co/wMQOOAPnvP

Ireland had never made it to the semi-finals of the prestigious youth tournament before and will bid for a third place finish against Mexico on Saturday.
Brazil will face Japan, who beat Mexico on penalties, in the final of the tournament.
