Academy Manager vacancy

West Bromwich Albion Football Club's Category One Academy is recruiting for a leading position.

WBA FC has a Category One Academy with an outstanding reputation in the area of player development. It has helped nurture and develop some outstanding talent.

Academy Manager critical skills include:

Management and Administration

Managing and Leading a Multi-Disciplinary Team

Finance and Budgets

Identifying Talent and Potential

Previous experience of Management of an elite sports environment

Thorough understanding of the EPPP, Audit Process and the requirements of a Category 1 Academy

Qualifications:

The Elite Academy Managers Programme (EAM)

UEFA A Licence

FA Youth Advanced Award

Working within the Academy, the Academy Manager will be responsible for shaping the continued success and future direction of the Academy department, its players and its staff.  This is a unique programme that requires an Academy professional; someone with a clear passion and desire to facilitate the development of youth players through identification, development and support of talented young footballers taking a long term approach through players having the skills and pathway to reach their full potential.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the coaching staff’s CPD, and will ensure that coaching staff improve and perform to the best of their ability which consequently will enable players to achieve their own maximum potential.
