Palmer impresses during Pilgrims loan

Alex Palmer claimed a third clean sheet in five games as Plymouth Argyle beat Walsall 3-0 at Home Park on Saturday afternoon.

The young Albion shot stopper has received lots of praise for his early performances for the Pilgrims and has conceded just three goals during his five Sky Bet League Two appearances for the club - and even managed an assist during the win against Walsall!

Elsewhere, Jonathan Leko and Sam Field both featured in Charlton’s 1-0 home win against Brentford.

Leko played the first 45 minutes before being substituted, while Sam Field came on with just under ten minutes to go to help the Addicks see out the victory.

Also out on loan, Albion’s Under-18s ‘keeper Ted Cann played a full match for Worcester City, who fell to a 1-0 defeat against Heather St Johns in an FA Cup Preliminary Round.
