Jimmy Shan was quick to praise Albion’s “convincing” display following Saturday’s impressive 4-1 success over Preston North End.
The Baggies recorded a third straight victory in front of their home fans thanks to a Dwight Gayle hat-trick and Jay Rodriguez’s clinical finish.
And Shan was delighted to see Albion produce a positive performance and respond in fine fashion to back-to-back defeats earlier in the week.
He said: “I’m delighted with the goals we have scored, with the three points and also to bounce back after our defeats last week.
“It was important thing to do in front of the home fans today.
“We’ve put in a very good performance and it’s pleasing to score four goals.
“I think the performance was as dominant as the scoreline was. I think it was a convincing one.
“The first goal was excellent.
“It’s a fantastic ball from Chris and he has that ability with his left foot to unlock anything.
“Dwight has got three goals today and he always offers so much in terms of his work ethic, his desire and his application.
“He’s a fantastic professional and we’re delighted to see him score three goals.
“That’s three wins from three at home and hopefully we can build on that for the remainder of the campaign.”
