Elsewhere it was a successful weekend for another on-loan Baggies defender with Kyle Jameson helping round-off Barrow’s National League campaign, coming on for the final 20 minutes to help keep a clean sheet during their 2-0 win at Gateshead.

And midfielder Sam Wilding also helped Leamington end a successful season with a good result, starting as they drew 1-1 at Darlington. It’s the Brakes’ highest finish, 13th in the National League North, since they were resurrected in 2000.
Meanwhile Salomon Rondon notched another assist for Newcastle in their 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton and Allan Nyom played a full game La Liga game for Leganes, helping the Spanish side to a goalless draw with Celta Vigo.
