MATT Phillips has been withdrawn from Scotland duty after reporting a slight ankle injury following Saturday’s victory over Stoke City.
The in-form Albion man had been selected for the forthcoming internationals against Belgium and Albania.
But he will now focus on a recovery which the Club are confident will see him available for a return to Sky Bet Championship action at Birmingham City on Friday, September 14.
The Baggies also expect his Scotland team-mate James Morrison to be available for the derby.
James has been held back from first-team consideration against Mansfield and Stoke because of a slight groin strain but expects to be training later this week.
Speaking post-match after the win over Stoke, Head Coach Darren Moore said: "Mozza struck a ball in training and just had a little niggle.
"Hopefully four or five days and he should be back in training."
