STRIKER Alf Bentley etched his name into Hawthorns history by becoming the only Albion player ever to score four goals on debut.
The feat came against Burnley as the Baggies strolled to a 4-1 home win.
Bentley ended up with 17 goals for the club in a career interrupted by the Great War.
