House shines on Chippenham debut

BRAD House was the man-of-the-moment for Chippenham Town fresh after agreeing a sixth-month loan deal last week.

The up-and-coming goalkeeper made his bow between the sticks for the Vanarama National League South outfit, keeping a clean sheet as his new team-mates picked up three points against Torquay United.

He joins a handful of Albion youngsters away from The Hawthorns, with Jack Fitzwater continuing his development in a 1-1 draw for Walsall at Sky Bet League One table-toppers Barnsley.

'Fitzy' played the full 90 minutes as Dean Keates' men kept their position in the play-off places with seven games played.

Kane Wilson - also on loan at the Saddlers - was an unsued substitute along with Kyle Jameson (Barrow) and Allan Nyom (Leganes), with Salomon Rondon starting in Newcastle United's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on September 1.

Max Melbourne has returned to Palm Training Ground from Partick Thistle for the international break as he recovers from a slight knock.
