'Frustrated' Albion will recover

HARVEY Barnes says his team-mates have already put defeat to Wigan Athletic to the back of their minds as they prepare for two home fixtures in the week ahead.

Derby County and Blackburn Rovers visit The Hawthorns following the Baggies' first defeat in eight games at the DW Stadium last time out.

And as Harvey assessed the Latics reverse, he had no doubts that Darren Moore's men would recover to give all they can against two promotion hopefuls.

"Wigan set up well against us," he acknowledged.

"They knew how we were going to play and denied us a lot of space, especially in the first half.

"Both teams were getting frustrated, you could see that.

"It was a frustrating game with plenty of fouls, a lot of 'niggly' stuff going on which slowed down the tempo of the game.

"That benefitted them more than us.

"The time of the goal killed us and it was tough after that.

"We had spells where we picked up and created some chances but it was a difficult game.

"The main thing now will be recovery and setting up to bounce back.

"The gaffer was saying 'that game's done' and 'we've got to move on'.

"A positive mindset will be needed for next week."
