ALBION came from behind to triumph 2-1 at Swansea City and record their third successive Sky Bet Championship victory.
Craig Dawson's header from Matt Phillips' corner provided an immediate response to Oli McBurnie's 10th-minute opener at the Liberty Stadium.
And it was fellow defender Ahmed Hegazi who nodded home another Phillips corner just before the interval to register his first goal of the season and seal all three points.
Harvey Barnes struck a post after the restart while Joe Rodon saw his late header clip the crossbar, but it was Albion who held firm to secure only a second victory in their last eight visits to Swansea.
It comes on the back of successive wins over Leeds United and Ipswich Town and ensures Darren Moore's side welcome Brentford to The Hawthorns on Monday in fine form.
The Baggies, unchanged for a third consecutive match, fell behind after just 10 minutes, McBurnie converting the rebound after Sam Johnstone had parried Matt Grimes' strike.
Yet the visitors levelled within just three minutes after Dawson rose highest to connect with Phillips' deep corner and send a looping header over Erwin Mulder.
Daniel James sent a tame effort straight at Johnstone having been sent clean through before clear-cut openings dried up as the first half wore on.
But it was Albion who landed another blow before the break, in similar circumstances to their opener, to take a lead into the interval.
Phillips sent another corner to the far post and, on this occasion, Dawson's central defensive partner Hegazi was on hand to nod home.
The Swans applied pressure at the start of the second half, albeit without forcing Johnstone into a real save of note, and Albion stood strong to preserve their advantage.
Barnes came close to extending the lead in the 72nd minute when he carried the ball into the penalty area, cut inside and saw his curling effort come back off the far post.
James Morrison sent a half-volley off target just minutes later before Rodon sent a header on to the top of the crossbar in the closing stages for the Swans, with Albion closing out the encounter to claim the spoils.
