DWIGHT Gayle added another sublime goal to his collection as he treated The Hawthorns to more “cheeky” football in the Sky Bet Championship.
His audacious back-heel against Leeds United brought delighted gasps from the home crowd and is indicative of his impish, infectious character around Palm Training Ground.
"I feel like I'm really enjoying my football at the moment," he nodded.
"Yeah [it feels like I'm on the school playground].
"When I do that then it means things are going well.
"I train the same way - I run around with a smile on my face."
And there was no better example of Dwight's style than his "cheeky" flick on his return from injury.
"The audacity."@dwightgayle 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

He added: "It wasn't a bad goal - certainly my cheekiest!
"It was probably the most instinctive but I still prefer the one against Stoke.
"I was a bit worried coming on - I was more thinking about not getting injured to be honest.
"The goal gave me that extra bit of confidence."
It means our hot-shot leads Jay Rodriguez by nine goals to eight in the race to become Albion's top scorer in the Sky Bet Championship.
But it's all friendly banter, says Dwight.
"It's a nice little bit of competition and a friendly bit of banter.
"We have a little laugh about it in training which is nice.
"As soon as I got here I felt fully involved in the group.
"It's a testament to the coaching staff and the manager."
