Always Albion: Remembering loved ones lost in 2018

ALBION are introducing a new matchday feature at the end of the year which will give our family the chance to honour loved ones lost in 2018.

In a project we are calling “Always Albion”, we will be paying tribute to supporters and former players who have passed away during the calendar year at our final home game of 2018.

The Club wants to celebrate the lives of those who are sadly no longer with us in a special “roll of honour” on The Hawthorns’  big screens before we play Sheffield Wednesday in a fixture scheduled for Saturday, December 28.

Fans who wish to pay their respects to their Baggies-supporting loved ones and friends are asked to submit their names and photographs to the Club, along with a brief message, for use at the fixture.

Those who are remembered will appear on the big screen at The Hawthorns in a special segment before kick off as well as featuring in the matchday production of Albion News for that game.

Any supporter wishing to include someone in this remembrance event should send a photograph along with name and years of life (i.e. 1950-2018) to fans@wbafc.co.uk

The deadline for inclusion in Albion News and all entries for the big screen must be received by Sunday, December 9.

Owing to the sheer volume of submissions, unfortunately it won't be possible to reply to every supporter individually.
