Albion to honour Leicester victims

ALBION teams of all ages will this weekend pay their respects to those who lost their lives in last Saturday's tragic events at King Power Stadium.

Five people, including Leicester's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, died in a helicopter crash which has rocked the football family.

Albion will join clubs all over the country in paying tribute, with our first team wearing black armbands and holding a minute's silence before Saturday's Championship encounter at Hull City (ko 3pm).

Supporters travelling to Humberside are asked to arrive early at The KCOM Stadium in order to observe the minute's silence, which coincides with 'Football Remembers' to commemorate the Armistice Centenary and Remembrance weekend.

The club's under-23s will pay their respects 24 hours earlier on Friday evening when they face Southampton at St Mary's Stadium, similarly wearing black armbands and holding a silence.

As will Albion's under-18s when they travel to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
